Feature Requests

While the caption transcript can be downloaded, it would be nice to be able to download subtitles so they can be uploaded to YouTube later, preferably with the ability to shift the timestamps in the SRT file (manual offset input) so they can be easily synced with video.

I tested the new version, and started a session, and spoke 20-30 words. I stopped the session. I started a new session. In the client web site, the words from the previous session were still there. The top words started to get replaced initially, and so there was a strange mix of words from the current and previous session. After 10-20 seconds, the words from the new session started to appear at the bottom of the words from the old session, so it got even stranger. After a minute or so, all the old words from the old session would have floated up and out of view, so it's not a big deal, it's just strange.

When the Visible/Hidden button is used, the clients (IOS and web client) do show "Captions currently disabled". Once the captions are re-enabled, then all of the captions are then shown, including the words spoken while the Visible/Hidden button was being used. It would be nice if (when the Hidden button is shown): audio stream is not sent to the AI web service to be turned into words (more importantly) the words are not shown in the web app once the Hidden button is pressed (and then becomes the Visible button).

The new Caption History feature is great, however, it would be nice to be able to remove test streams from the list.

Good morning, Thank you for this great product! We set it up yesterday with Propresenter and did some testing. When we create the display in captionkit, it is not recognizing an external microphone we have connected to the (mac) computer via a wire. Could you help? Thanks! Tina

When trying to do captions in another languages other then English, its not wanting to connect to the server. It just keeps loading forever, but only with English it connects right away. I was wondering if that's a problem on my end or if the servers are down for the moment? Thank you!

Another software we have been using has the option to use headphones (or connected Bluetooth) in the dialogue to activate an automated text-to-speech function once the caption is displayed on screen. This would be beneficial for those with Bluetooth hearing aids, and would like some additional accessibility.

Under the "Output Languages" setting, it says the languages can be used not only for the public link but also for output displays. I apologize if I just overlooked this, but I haven't been able to get additional languages (aside from the speaker language) on our output displays.

When using subtitles for a live video, would it be possible to change the way the subtitles appear for example, instead of having them appear sentence after sentence, have them appear word after word, as if you are typing it out. That way if the speaker says a long sentence and then says a short sentence, the long sentence doesn’t disappearing right away before you could read it. It would just give you more time to read what they are saying.

Our church, and I'm sure many others, would benefit from being able to do "English-->English" as well as "Spanish-->Spanish" at the same time. I'm fine with making multiple accounts... But at some point, especially if the live translation is added, many accounts would be required for a single service. It would be more convenient to allow simultaneous inputs/outputs within one instance of the program... Bonus points if the user could smoothly transition from one channel to another! I understand that this may not be possible or easy, but I appreciate your consideration!
